How to apply
Here you will find information about who can apply for our courses and how to do it. You will also find information about tuition fees. See an overview of our courses.
Exchange students
Exchange students can use the Erasmus or Nordlys/Nordplus exchange programmes or apply through a bilateral exchange agreement between their home university and the University of Copenhagen.
You apply through your home university, who nominates you for a stay. When you are nominated you will receive a login for our online application system; mobility online, where you submit an application.
Our courses are free of charge for exchange students.
Fee-paying guest students
Guest enrolment is an alternative to applying through an exchange agreement.
You apply using an application form at the Faculty of Humanities.
Both non-EU and EU/EEA/Swiss citizens are required to pay tuition fees.
Part-time studies as a professional
You can apply as a professional but must have completed one year of studies at a university bachelor level.
You apply using an application form at the Faculty of Humanities.
Please note that part-time students are required to pay tuition fees.
UCPH and other Danish students
If you are currently enrolled in a full degree programme at UPCH or another Danish Institution, you can apply as a credit transfer student at the Faculty of Humanities. The credits for the course(s) must be transferrable to your Danish study programme.
You apply using an application form as a credit transfer student.
Attending a course as a credit transfer student is free of charge. Please note that if your enrolment at your Danish home university is subject to tuition, you will have to pay tuition fees at your home university while studying at the University of Copenhagen.
